Hi all
My 8th grade dughter amazed me tonight!!!!
I saw her in a dress, heels, make up, dangling earrings, and make up for the very first time. She is a GREAT dancer with a smile that can kock you off your feet. She is playfull yet SERIOUS about what drives her. SHE WANTS TO WIN... yet will never do it dishonestly. She is tender and sweet yet a rule follower... she can be grouchy and rude when tired or hungry as can anybody her age. Bottom line... here it is>>>> I am very proud o this very young girls ability to " Rock this town" with a smile and a passion that will warm your heart and touch your soul.
She wants to have a carreer in vetrinary medicine. She loves our 3 horses, 3 dogs, miniture donkey, and roughly 20 something barn cats. She takes count every morning with accuracy a she and her brother meticulously carry out chores of feeding horses and donkey, and walking and feeding dogs no matter how bitter cold our winters are or stifling hot our summers are. This daughter can handle the animals, get stright A", play basketball and WOW baby she can dance and sing!!
I was amazed at the older highschool group singing about AMAZING GRACE and JESUS CHRIST in a time when most are not even allowed to Say a prayer to GOD at graduation ceremonies.. Sad our times, and our precious children suffer so seriously in their faith. I think only 1 out of 3 of my natural children have any desire at all to know God. :(
Honey if you read this>>>
I LOVE YOU!!!
I am PROUD of you!!!

Praises to God
Good morning,
I want to take a moment to give praises to God for helping me figure out how to get this far.... with life,Faith, recovering from this injury, with this blog, etc. I am currently out of work do to a work related head and neck injury that happened last April. I thought it might sharpen my skills to write a blog... I live in a currently snow covered and very cold part of the country. God has blessed this part of our Flat farming area with gentle rolling hills, meandering streams, a plentiful bounty of roaming dear, Giant Oak trees that mus have been saplings prior to the civil war. We have a beautiful pond that is stocked with many varieties of fish and teaming with wildlife(snapping turtles, great big heron and sometimes pests like beaver or muskrat)
I want to give our Father the Glory for the beautiful colors we have year around with the flora, fauna and wildlife. I am also grateful for our 3 goofy horses and our 3 goofy dogs as well as Zorro, our miniature Jerusalem donkey.
Let me introduce myself a bit. I am 44, a cancer survivor, mother of 3(a boy *21*and 2 girls*18* and*14*), step mom to 2 ( a girl*16* and a boy*13*) May I add that the 21 year old lives in Texas and attends college, the 18 year old just moved out, the 16 year old lives with her mom and that leaves us here with 2 kids that are 2 months and 2o something days apart. Both getting ready for High School next year!! I am a survivor of Cancer (another Praise for God!!) a non smoker that ended up with a carcinoid tumor in my lung (bummer). I had my upper left lung lobe (more that 3/4 of that lung) removed in 2001 and here I am today, almost 9 years later cancer free!!! PRAISE THE LORD for that one too!!! I am excited as I will hit the 10 year cancer free mark in just 21 months!!!
I want to ask for prayers for all that are going through a trying time or holding bitterness in their hearts. I would like to Pray for our church who has outgrown their current facility and is currently in need of raising capital for the purchase and conversion of an old winery to our new church family home. I would like to pray for all of the people that put themselves in harms way to go out around the world and spread the word of God. Please find them safely home after successfully completing their tasks.
